At the beginning of the great war, Talunya cried, of course we would cry too, if we did not understand that the lives of those we love depend on our actions. We never cried. There was nothing to cry about.
And the child could afford to be sensitive to all aspects. Fortunately, she still could.
I asked who her tears were for this time.
And heard with photo illustrations:
-Behind the Dnipro, 600 animals are dying of hunger in the shelter, and can I, a teenager, DO SOMETHING to help them?!
I froze, my brain chaotically began to search for a solution, because here people are dying, friends are fighting without protection, a loved one is on the front line, and here are animals…
But the rage that drove us in the first months also took its toll here. If you can do something to make your child smile, do it, no matter how much it costs you.
- You can baby, YOU ALREADY DID IT.
I answered and turned to my friends Artur Niemczyk – Gazda, Tomasz Włoch z Polski Zespół Humanitarny and Henning Ploog from Diana Barth, who launched a campaign in Germany and Poland to collect fodder for the BF “Life in the Palms” Shelter and for many months we together we support the cats and dogs that Olchyk Kravchenko-Reva takes such careful care of.
Again and again we do not stop thanking the boys and Diana for their help
*And my daughter smiles every time we deliver the next batch of support.
Just for this smile of hers, I am ready to find solutions to difficult questions again and again.
